This policy applies to physical prints and wall art purchased through Adventure Imagery's SmugMug store.
Production and Delivery
Orders placed through our SmugMug store are produced and shipped by SmugMug's professional printing partners.
Production time varies by the product, size, finish, and printing lab. Please review the production information provided during ordering. If a production estimate is not shown, contact us before ordering and we will help confirm it.
Allow time for both production and delivery. The shipping method's estimated transit time begins after production is complete. Choosing faster shipping does not, by itself, shorten production time.
Available shipping destinations, methods, and charges are shown during checkout. Please use the estimates provided for your selected products and delivery address when planning your purchase.
If you need artwork for a particular date, contact explore@adventureimagery.com before ordering so we can help check whether the timing is realistic.
Tracking and Delays
SmugMug sends a shipping notification when your order is ready for carrier pickup. Tracking availability depends on the shipping service selected.
If your order is overdue or appears lost, contact SmugMug using the support link in your order email. You can also contact Adventure Imagery for assistance. SmugMug can investigate and discuss a reprint or refund where appropriate.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights concerning shipping delays or undelivered orders.
Changes and Cancellations
Contact help@smugmug.com immediately if you need to cancel an order or correct its shipping address. Changes or cancellation may be possible before the order is sent to the printing lab, but cannot be guaranteed.
Changes to the print size or other product selections may require canceling the original order and placing a new one.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled or modified. The satisfaction guarantee below still applies.
Orders Arranged Directly
For purchases arranged directly with Adventure Imagery outside SmugMug checkout, production estimates, shipping arrangements, and return terms will be provided in writing before payment. SmugMug's guarantee does not automatically apply to those purchases.
30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Physical prints and wall art purchased through our SmugMug store are backed by SmugMug's satisfaction guarantee.
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, contact help@smugmug.com within 30 days of receiving it to arrange a reprint or a refund of the product purchase price.
Include your order number and a brief explanation. You may also contact explore@adventureimagery.com for help with the process.
Follow SmugMug's return instructions before mailing anything. Its team will confirm whether the item must be returned, the correct destination, and any return shipping arrangements.
Original shipping charges are generally not refunded unless the product is physically defective, as provided in SmugMug's terms. Ask support to confirm any shipping costs before returning an item.
Damaged or Incorrect Prints
Please inspect your artwork when it arrives. If it is damaged or incorrect, contact SmugMug promptly with your order number and photographs showing the issue. For damage, include photographs of the packaging when possible.
Keep the print and packaging until support provides instructions. Damaged prints are eligible for a reprint under SmugMug's guarantee, or you may request a refund instead.
Color and Appearance
Screen settings, print materials, and room lighting can affect how a photograph looks. If you are disappointed with the finished print, please contact me or SmugMug. These differences do not remove the satisfaction guarantee. I do want to add that all of my photos have a human touch to them and none of them have been ran through any Artificial Intelligence software. This means I intentionally and artistically include natural specs of dust, plankton, and debris that may be found in the setting of the water. This preserves its natural appearance that you would find in the wild. My editing is limited to lighting improvement, contrast, and RGB color correction. Also, some photos may print with a slightly different color brightness, tone, or hue than what you see on a digital screen, which is due to the abilities of printers versus digital screen pixels. Nonetheless, I fully intend on ensuring you are satisfied with your purchases.
